About ClaimCMR

Built by someone who understands EU logistics.

FOUNDER STORY

ClaimCMR started from a simple frustration. Working in Baltic and EU logistics, I saw the same pattern over and over — freight claims being written off not because they were invalid, but because the filing window had closed, the documentation was incomplete, or nobody in the organisation knew how a specific carrier processes denials.

The tools that existed were built for the US market, designed around the Carmack Amendment and US carrier workflows. They didn't understand CMR Convention deadlines, EU carrier documentation requirements, or the reality of a Lithuanian 3PL managing claims for 80 shipper clients across 15 different carriers.

So I built ClaimCMR. An EU-native freight claims recovery platform that understands the rules European logistics companies actually operate under. No adapting a US product for Europe. No bolting GDPR compliance onto an afterthought. Built from day one for the way EU logistics works.

ClaimCMR is founder-led, EU-focused, and dedicated to one mission: making sure every valid freight claim gets filed correctly, on time, every time.

WHY EU-FIRST MATTERS

US claims software doesn't work here

The US freight claims market operates under the Carmack Amendment — a single federal statute that applies uniformly across all states and carriers. Filing deadlines are measured in months. Documentation requirements are standardised.

In Europe, we operate under the CMR Convention — an international treaty with strict, non-negotiable deadlines. Visible damage must be reported within 7 days of delivery. Concealed damage within 21 days. The total filing period is just 1 year. And every carrier — DB Schenker, DHL Freight, Girteka, DSV, Rhenus — has their own forms, their own portals, their own reasons for denial.

ClaimCMR is built for this reality. Our deadline engine understands CMR rules natively. Our carrier intelligence is built on EU carrier denial patterns. Our data is hosted in Frankfurt, Germany — not Virginia. And our platform is GDPR-compliant by design, not by retrofit.

If you're filing freight claims in Europe, you need a tool built for Europe.
